This year during our membership drive we will be raffling away a $50 Mastercard gift card! How to be entered? If you have renewed or joined the Neighborhood Association since January 1st 2020 you are already entered. If you have not joined or renewed, now is the perfect time to join! We will put all the names into the raffle and live stream the winner on Instagram and Facebook April 2nd!
We have a Goal of 300 households this year! The only way we can achieve this goal is with your help! If you refer a neighbor to join or pay for a neighbor or friend that is not a member, you will be added into the raffle again!
Follow along on Facebook and Instagram to learn more neat facts about our neighborhood Association and to see the live stream raffle winner!
A Note from the President,
I would like to thank each and every one of you that has emailed and responded to our call-to-action to become a block captain! We are an all volunteer board and can not do this with out your help! With our current list of volunteer block captains we can reach 500 households with a physical newsletter this month. This is going to help us achieve our goal of 300 members this year!
It is not too late to get an article for the physical newsletter. Please email us at webmaster@htna.org we will need all articles in by end of the week!
We can not wait to see what this month will bring and who the winner of the raffle will be.
We have a training class set for March 25th, from 6pm to about 9pm.
Read below for more information or take a look at our Crime Watch Patrol recruitment video at the following link https://youtu.be/Tk0NfJOUMuY
Our Crime Watch Patrol program asks citizens to volunteer as little as an hour a month to drive your neighborhood, reporting anything suspicious that you may see. We supply City of Richardson Crime Watch Patrol signs for each group to use on their vehicles. The continued visible presence of an active group of citizens sends the message to would be criminals in the area that their presence will be reported immediately. This risk of apprehension can be an effective deterrent to crime.
Each applicant will need to complete the online application at http://www.richardsonpolice.net/i-want-to/sign-up-for/crime-watch-patrol/cwp-application
and pass a background check before attending a Crime Watch Patrol training class.
